ACTA 2023 International Clinical Trials Symposium
The ACTA International Clinical Trials Symposium is the premier event on the clinical trials calendar, which brings together a broad range of Australian and International experts in the design and conduct of clinical trials, clinical data, healthcare funding, policy and regulation, healthcare service delivery, health information technology and patient advocacy.
Now in its 8th year, including four international conferences, the full jam-packed three-day Symposium will provide a platform for national and international speakers to share global advances in developing self-improving healthcare systems. This year’s theme is Efficiency and Impact: changing the landscape in clinical trials.
ACTA anticipates that more than 1,000 leading clinical trialists, researchers and health and research policymakers from around the globe will participate with an engaging mix of expertise, innovation, and vision, including presentations and discussions from the best minds in the sector.
The Symposium will also see the announcement of the winners of the annual prestigious Trial of the Year Awards.
The Trial of the Year Awards categories include:

- STInG Excellence in Trial Statistics
- Consumer Involvement
- Health Economist Alongside Trials (New in 2023!)
The Symposium program is being finalised and will include invited national and international speakers and presentations chosen from submitted abstracts.
