Bill is currently the Research Program Director at Western Health.  He has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Sciences and is current doing a PhD on Registry Randomised Clinical Trial with Prof Peter Gibbs as his supervisor. Bill has been integral in the establishment of the standard national Clinical Trial Agreements that are current used for the conduct of clinical trials in Australia while he was with the VMIA.  He helped establish the VMIA CTN Guidelines and also the Research Governance Handbook.  Bill was ministerially appointed as a member of the Consultative Counsel for Clinical Trials Research in 2012 and has served on many other national and state committees and working groups to facilitate clinical trials in Australia.
