David Wilks, Executive Director, Regional Head, Clinical Operations Pacific, Bristol Myers Squibb. 

David acts as Co-Chair of the Research & Development Taskforce (RDTF) a multi-sector collaboration between Medicines Australia, AusBioTech and the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA).  

David Wilks leads the BMS Regional Clinical Operations team for the Pacific Region which includes Australia, New Zealand, India, Korea, Singapore & Taiwan. This team is comprised of greater than 170 clinical trial professionals responsible for clinical trial site selection, start-up, execution and delivery of clinical trials across the region. David has 25 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in clinical operations across multiple countries and clinical development programs working with cross functional teams.  

David joined BMS in 2003 and held a variety of roles within RCO Australia.   Prior to joining BMS David worked for Eli Lilly for 6 years in both Australia and UK, with roles in both medical information & clinical development. 

He is a graduate, with a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc honors) and a Global Executive MBA from Monash University.
