Dr Deonna Ackermann is a Lecturer in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney where she is involved with teaching evidence-based medicine and research methods to graduate medical students. She also has a position as a Research Fellow with the MEL-
SELF melanoma surveillance randomised controlled trial where she has developed an interest in clinical trial methodology. She is currently enrolled in a PhD which is focused on embedding methodological research to support decision making in clinical trials and translation of research results into practice.
