Varni, as Policy and Project Officer of the Australian Multicultural Health Collaborative which is an initiative of the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Council of Australia (FECCA), champions the health issues that affect multicultural communities. Importantly, she brings with her a background in public health research and experience in policy and advocacy primarily relating to multicultural health in Australia. The combination of her background and experience provides her with a deep understanding of the issues that affect multicultural communities, including engagement and involvement of multicultural communities in research.
